Message fuel rail with both left and right fuel rails connected with crossover hose before install. Use about 50 to 55 psi air and place the set up in a bucket of water. Look for any leaks at the injector tips and O rings. This allows you to see any tip leaks that are not view-able if test done on car. Once on the car make sure the fuel rail fits the lower manifold at the O rings with good fit. When I did the replace with the 300 degree rails I also pressure tested the rest of the under hood fuel system under the hood with air pressure

Make sure that when testing under air pressure and gage that the compressor shutoff valve is closed to prevent back-flow of air thru the compressor rings. Fuel system should hold steady pressure on gage for at least 1/2 hr.

This testing will add to the work time but save remove time if leaks occur.

Will you be using the steel braided fuel hose anywhere?
